Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 400°F and slice the baguette in half lengthwise.
- Place the sliced bread on a baking sheet with cut sides facing up and bake for 5 minutes until warmed and lightly golden.
- Prepare the creamy basil sauce by blending garlic, mayonnaise, basil, salt, and pepper until smooth.
- Assemble the sandwiches by drizzling balsamic vinegar and olive oil on one half of the bread, then layering arugula, mozzarella, and tomato slices.
- Sprinkle the tomatoes with flaky salt and spread the basil sauce on the other half of the bread before closing the sandwich.
