Ingredients

Marinade

  • ¼ cup olive oil
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2 tablespoons lemon juice
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • ½ teaspoon black pepper

Main Ingredient

  • 2-3 pounds sea scallops

Instructions

  1. Mix olive oil, garlic, lemon juice, salt, and pepper in a bowl until combined.
  2. Add scallops to the marinade and toss to coat.
  3. Preheat the grill to medium-high heat (approximately 375°-450° Fahrenheit).
  4. Remove scallops from the marinade and slide 4 to 5 scallops onto each skewer.
  5. Place skewered scallops on the preheated grill over indirect heat.
  6. Cook for 2 to 3 minutes, then flip and cook another 2 to 3 minutes until opaque.
  7. Remove from grill and serve immediately.
