The dipping sauce

plain Greek yogurt

Instructions
- Combine all kofta ingredients in a large mixing bowl.
- Form the mixture into oval balls the size of large meatballs.
- Insert pre-soaked bamboo skewers into the balls.
- Grill the koftas on a medium-high heat grill for about 3 minutes per side, or until the internal temperature reaches 160 degrees.
- Oil the grill grates to prevent sticking.
- Let the koftas rest under foil for 10 minutes after grilling.
- Grill the pita flatbread for a few minutes to warm it up.
- Serve the koftas with warm pita bread and Greek yogurt dipping sauce, garnished with chopped mint if desired.
