The skewers
Instructions
- Soak bamboo skewers in water for 30 minutes.
- In a large bowl, mix grated onion, minced garlic, chopped herbs, cumin, salt, and pepper.
- Add ground lamb and mix until just combined, being careful not to over-mix.
- Divide the mixture into 16 sections and mold each around a skewer.
- Preheat the grill to medium-high heat and oil the grates.
- Grill the skewers for 3 minutes, flip, and cook for an additional 3-5 minutes to desired doneness.
- Let the kebabs rest for a few minutes before serving.
