Instructions
- Soak bamboo skewers in water for at least 30 minutes if using them.
- In a mixing bowl, combine ground chicken, chopped onion, parsley, garlic, breadcrumbs, cumin, coriander, cinnamon, salt, and optional spices.
- Mix until the spices are evenly distributed.
- Preheat the grill to medium-high heat and lightly grease it with avocado oil.
- Shape about ¼ cup of the mixture into a log and press a skewer through the center, shaping it to about 5 inches long.
- Repeat with the remaining mixture to form approximately 8 skewers.
- Place the kebabs on the grill and cook for 3-4 minutes on one side, then flip and cook for another 3-4 minutes until cooked through.
- Ensure the internal temperature reaches 165°F (74°C).
- Serve hot with optional sides like lemon rice, hummus, tahini sauce, tabbouleh, grilled veggies, and pita.
