Ingredients

The burgers

  • 2 pounds lean ground beef
  • 2 teaspoons garlic powder
  • ¾ cup Miracle Whip
  • 8 pieces hamburger buns

The slaw

  • 1 14-ounce package coleslaw mix
  • 1 8-ounce can crushed pineapple
  • ¼ cup thinly sliced red onions
  • 2 teaspoons Sriracha sauce
  • 2 tablespoons chopped fresh cilantro
  • 2 tablespoons freshly squeezed lime juice

Instructions

  1. Preheat the grill to medium heat.
  2. Combine ground beef, garlic powder, and ¼ cup of Miracle Whip until just mixed, then shape into 8 patties.
  3. Grill the patties for 5 to 6 minutes on each side until they reach 160ºF.
  4. In a large bowl, mix together coleslaw mix, drained pineapple, red onions, and cilantro if using.
  5. In a small bowl, whisk together the remaining Miracle Whip, Sriracha sauce, and lime juice if using, then add to the slaw mixture and toss to combine.
  6. Brush the buns with butter or olive oil and grill them cut-side down for about 1 minute until toasted.
  7. Assemble the burgers by placing the patties in the buns and topping with the slaw, then serve immediately.
