Fried Shrimp

The shrimp and coating

jumbo shrimp, deveined and peeled but leave tails on

all-purpose flour

salt

pepper

teaspoon
garlic powder

eggs, beaten

panko breadcrumbs

oil for frying
Optional garnishes

Instructions
- Combine flour, salt, pepper, and garlic powder in a bowl.
- Beat the eggs in a separate bowl.
- Place the breadcrumbs in a third bowl.
- Dip each shrimp in the flour, then in the egg, and finally coat with breadcrumbs.
- Heat oil in a deep pot to 350°F.
- Fry 6 shrimp at a time for 3-4 minutes until golden brown.
- Drain the cooked shrimp on paper towels.
- Serve immediately with cocktail sauce and garnish with lemon and parsley if desired.
