Roasted Broccoli

Instructions
- Slice florets from the thick stalk and cut into individual florets.
- Preheat the oven to 450°F.
- Place broccoli on a rimmed baking sheet and drizzle with olive oil.
- Toss the broccoli with salt and pepper to taste.
- Spread the broccoli out evenly on the baking sheet and roast for about 11 - 13 minutes until lightly browned.
- Toss the broccoli and continue roasting for an additional 4 - 7 minutes until tender.
- If using garlic, add it during the last minute of roasting.
- Add lemon juice and parmesan cheese after removing from the oven, and serve warm.
