Slow Cooker Cranberry Sauce

Ingredients

  • 2 cups fresh cranberries
  • ¾ cup dried sweetened cranberries
  • 2 cups peeled and diced apples
  • ½ teaspoon orange zest
  • ¼ cup fresh orange juice
  • 3 tablespoons honey
  • ½ teaspoon cinnamon
  • a little pinch salt

Instructions

  1. Combine all ingredients in the slow cooker and stir together.
  2. Cook for 2 hours on high or 3-4 hours on low until the ingredients are softened.
  3. Using the back of a large spoon, mash the apples and berries together.
  4. Stir until well combined and serve hot or cold.
