Ingredients

Main Ingredients

  • 1 pkg (12 oz) Fresh Cranberries
  • ½ cup Orange Juice
  • cup Water
  • cup Brown Sugar
  • cup White Sugar
  • ½ teaspoon Cinnamon

Optional Add-ins

  • 1 teaspoon Orange Zest
  • pinch Ground Ginger
  • to taste Chopped Walnuts
  • ¼ teaspoon Vanilla Extract
  • pinch Cloves

Instructions

  1. Add the cranberries to the slow cooker.
  2. Mix together the remaining ingredients and pour over the cranberries.
  3. Place the lid on the crockpot and cook on High for 2-3 hours, or Low for 4-6 hours, stirring once every hour.
  4. Taste and adjust sweetener as desired.
  5. Mash the cranberry sauce to your preferred consistency.
  6. Serve warm or chilled, noting that the sauce will thicken as it cools.
