Ingredients

  • 2 large bananas, mashed (about a cup)
  • ¼ cup sour cream/yogurt
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • ½ cup brown sugar
  • ½ cup granulated sugar
  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • ½ teaspoon salt
  • ½ cup unsalted melted butter
  • 1 cup chocolate chips

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F and grease a muffin pan.
  2. In a small bowl, whisk together the eggs, mashed bananas, both sugars, sour cream, and vanilla.
  3. In another bowl, combine the flour, baking powder, baking soda, and salt.
  4. Gradually add the wet ingredients to the dry ingredients and mix with a spatula until combined.
  5. Pour in the melted butter and mix thoroughly, scraping down the sides.
  6. Pour the batter into the prepared muffin pan and bake for 16-20 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted comes out clean.
