Bacon Wrapped Scallops

large sea scallops, patted dry
The bacon and glaze

bacon slices, cut in half crosswise

maple syrup

soy sauce

garlic powder

Instructions
- Preheat the broiler and coat a sheet pan with cooking spray.
- Wrap each scallop with half a slice of bacon and secure with a toothpick.
- Arrange the wrapped scallops in a single layer on the baking pan.
- In a small bowl, mix together the maple syrup, soy sauce, garlic powder, salt, and pepper.
- Brush half of the mixture over the top of each scallop.
- Broil for 10-15 minutes until the bacon is crisp and the scallops are cooked through, brushing with the remaining sauce halfway through.
- Sprinkle with parsley and serve.
