Instructions
- Preheat the oven to the broil setting and place an oven-safe rack over a baking sheet.
- Pat the scallops dry and toss them with lemon juice, garlic powder, salt, and pepper.
- Wrap each scallop with a halved bacon slice and secure with a toothpick, then place on the baking sheet.
- Broil the scallops for 5 minutes, flip them, and broil for an additional 4-7 minutes until the bacon is crispy.
- Drizzle with lemon butter sauce before serving, if desired.
