Nutella Brownies

Nutella, divided

Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (177°C) and prepare an 8-inch or 9-inch square baking pan with foil or parchment.
- In a large bowl, beat the butter until creamy, then add brown sugar and mix until combined.
- Add eggs and vanilla, and mix until combined, then add 1 cup of Nutella and salt, mixing until smooth.
- Gradually add flour and mix just until combined, folding in chocolate chips if using.
- Pour the batter into the prepared pan, adding teaspoonfuls of the remaining Nutella on top and swirling it in.
- Bake for 32-36 minutes, checking for doneness with a toothpick.
- Allow the brownies to cool completely in the pan before lifting them out and cutting into squares.
