Ingredients

The burgers

  • lbs ground turkey
  • ½ cup crumbled feta
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • ¼ cup red onion, diced small
  • 1 cup fresh spinach, chopped small
  • ½ tsp dried oregano
  • ½ tsp salt
  • ½ tsp pepper
  • 2 tbsp avocado oil

The tzatziki sauce

Instructions

  1. 1. Combine all burger ingredients in a bowl and mix well using your hands.
  2. 2. Form the mixture into patties, using about ⅓ to ½ cup of meat for each.
  3. 3. Heat a skillet with avocado oil over medium heat and add the burgers once hot.
  4. 4. Cook the burgers for 5 minutes on one side, then flip and reduce heat to medium low. Cover and cook for another 5 minutes.
  5. 5. Repeat until all burgers are fully cooked.
  6. 6. Prepare tzatziki sauce as per your preferred recipe.
  7. 7. Serve the burgers with onion, tomato, buns, or over lettuce.
