Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F and grease the donut pan.
- In a medium bowl, mix the dry ingredients: flour, baking powder, cinnamon, ginger, nutmeg, cloves, and salt.
- In a large bowl, combine the wet ingredients: pumpkin puree, brown sugar, egg, milk, and melted butter.
- Add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients and stir until just combined.
- Transfer the batter to a piping bag and fill the donut pan ¾ full.
- Bake for 9 to 11 minutes until fluffy and springy to touch.
- Cool the donuts in the pan for 5 minutes, then transfer to a wire rack.
- For the glaze, melt butter, brown sugar, and milk in a saucepan over medium heat.
- Remove from heat and whisk in corn syrup and maple extract, then add powdered sugar and mix until smooth.
- Dip each donut in the glaze and add sprinkles immediately before the glaze sets.
