Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F and prepare a donut pan with oil.
- In a large bowl, whisk together the melted butter, oil, sugar, eggs, vanilla, milk, pumpkin puree, and sour cream.
- In a separate bowl, mix the flour, baking powder, baking soda, pumpkin pie spice, nutmeg, and salt.
- Combine the dry ingredients with the wet ingredients and stir until just mixed.
- Fill the donut pans with the batter.
- Bake for 13 to 16 minutes for standard donuts, or until a toothpick comes out clean.
- Let the donuts cool in the pan for 10 minutes, then transfer to a cooling rack for 20 minutes.
- For the glaze, whisk together powdered sugar and salt, then mix in maple syrup, vanilla, and milk.
- Dip the cooled donuts in the glaze and serve immediately.
