Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F and grease the donut pan.
- Melt the butter in a small bowl and set aside to cool slightly.
- Whisk together the flour, baking powder, cinnamon, ginger, nutmeg, cloves, and salt in a small bowl.
- In a large bowl, combine the pumpkin puree, brown sugar, egg, milk, and slightly cooled melted butter, and whisk until well combined.
- Add the flour mixture to the pumpkin mixture and stir until just mixed.
- Transfer the batter to a piping bag and pipe into the prepared donut pan, filling each ring ¾ full.
- Bake for 9 to 11 minutes until a toothpick comes out with a few moist crumbs.
- Cool the donuts in the pan until cool enough to handle, then transfer to a cooling rack.
- For the glaze, beat the softened cream cheese and butter until smooth.
- Add the powdered sugar and 1 teaspoon of milk, and beat until smooth, adjusting the milk as needed to achieve a thin frosting consistency.
- Dip each donut in the glaze and allow to set for 15 to 20 minutes before serving.
