Ingredients

The dates

  • 20 pieces Medjool dates

The wrapping

  • 10 slices bacon, sliced in half

The filling

  • ¾ cup goat cheese

The glaze

  • 2 tablespoons honey

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 200C/400F and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. Slice each date down the center and remove the pits.
  3. Stuff each date with goat cheese and close the slits.
  4. Wrap each date with half a slice of bacon and secure with a toothpick.
  5. Place the dates on the baking sheet, drizzle with honey, and bake for 20 minutes, flipping halfway through until the bacon is crispy.
