Instructions
- Preheat the oven to broil.
- Split one side of each Medjool date lengthwise and remove the pit.
- Stuff each date with one teaspoon of minced nuts if using.
- Wrap each date with a bacon strip and secure with a toothpick.
- Soak toothpicks in water for a few minutes to prevent burning.
- Place the wrapped dates under the broiler, turning once for even cooking.
- Cook for about 3 minutes per side until bacon is crispy.
- Serve warm.
