Ingredients

  • 1 lb Medjool dates
  • 1 lb bacon (sliced)
  • 6 oz nuts (minced, optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to broil.
  2. Split one side of each Medjool date lengthwise and remove the pit.
  3. Stuff each date with one teaspoon of minced nuts if using.
  4. Wrap each date with a bacon strip and secure with a toothpick.
  5. Soak toothpicks in water for a few minutes to prevent burning.
  6. Place the wrapped dates under the broiler, turning once for even cooking.
  7. Cook for about 3 minutes per side until bacon is crispy.
  8. Serve warm.
