Easy Black Bean Brownies

The icing
-

unsweetened cocoa powder

coconut oil (melted)

Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350ºF and grease an 8×8-inch baking pan.
- In a large bowl, whisk together the oat flour, cocoa powder, salt, and baking powder.
- In a blender, combine the black beans, water, maple syrup, and vanilla extract and blend until smooth.
- Pour the bean mixture into the dry ingredients and mix until combined. Stir in the nuts and chocolate chips.
- Pour the mixture into the prepared baking pan and bake for 30 minutes, or until a toothpick comes out clean.
- While baking, prepare the icing by mixing cocoa powder, coconut oil, maple syrup, and vanilla in a small bowl.
- Once the brownies are cool, spread the icing on top and cut into 16 squares.
