Ingredients

The potatoes

  • 2 lb Yukon Gold potatoes

The creamy mixture

  • ½ cup butter, melted
  • ½ cup sour cream
  • cup heavy whipping cream

The cheeses

  • 2 cups Monterey jack cheese
  • 1 cup white sharp cheddar cheese

The seasonings

  • 1 tbsp sea salt
  • 1 tbsp black pepper
  • ½ tbsp onion powder
  • ½ tbsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp Creole seasoning

Instructions

  1. Peel and cube the potatoes.
  2. Boil the potatoes for 25 to 30 minutes, then drain and place in a bowl.
  3. Mash the potatoes and mix in butter, salt, pepper, onion powder, garlic powder, and Creole seasoning.
  4. Add the cheeses, sour cream, and heavy cream, mixing until smooth.
  5. Serve topped with butter and parsley or chives.
