Maple Pecan Granola

Ingredients

  • 3 cups rolled oats
  • 1 teaspoon cinnamon
  • ¼ teaspoon nutmeg
  • ¼ teaspoon cloves
  • teaspoon salt
  • ½ cup raw pecan halves
  • cup maple syrup
  • cup olive oil
  • 2 tablespoons fresh orange juice
  • 1 teaspoon fresh orange zest

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F.
  2. Combine rolled oats, cinnamon, nutmeg, cloves, salt, and pecans in a large mixing bowl.
  3. Add maple syrup, olive oil, fresh orange juice, and orange zest to the bowl and mix thoroughly.
  4. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper and spread the granola mixture thinly on it.
  5. Bake for 16-18 minutes, stirring halfway through at the 8-minute mark.
  6. Remove from the oven and let cool for 5 minutes before transferring to a storage container.
