Ingredients

The dough

  • 1 batch pizza dough

The sauce

  • 1 batch pizza sauce

The toppings

  • 1 cup mozzarella cheese
  • ½ cup turkey pepperoni
  • ¼ cup fresh Parmesan cheese
  • 1 cup fresh basil (optional)
  • 1 cup pesto (optional)

For grilling

  • 1 tbsp extra virgin olive oil or canola oil

Instructions

  1. Prepare the grill and preheat it.
  2. Make the pizza dough and let it rise.
  3. Roll out the dough into pieces that fit on the grill.
  4. Brush one side of the dough with oil.
  5. Place the oiled side down on the grill and cook until the bottom is browned.
  6. Flip the dough and quickly add sauce, cheese, and toppings.
  7. Close the grill lid and cook until the cheese is melted.
  8. Remove the pizza from the grill and let it cool slightly before slicing.
