Broiled Salmon With Scallions and Sesame

Instructions
- 1. Whisk together garlic, lime juice, soy sauce, honey, 1 tablespoon of oil, and ½ teaspoon of sesame seeds in a bowl.
- 2. Season the salmon fillets with salt and place them in a resealable plastic bag with half of the marinade. Seal the bag and let sit for 30 minutes.
- 3. Preheat the broiler.
- 4. Toss the scallions with the remaining 2 teaspoons of oil on a sizzle platter and broil until lightly charred, about 3 minutes.
- 5. Remove the salmon from the marinade and place it on top of the scallions. Spoon some reserved marinade over the salmon.
- 6. Broil the salmon until charred around the edges, about 6 minutes, watching closely to avoid burning.
- 7. Spoon more marinade over the salmon, top with sliced chile, and broil until the salmon is medium-rare at the thickest part, about 2 more minutes.
- 8. Sprinkle with more sesame seeds before serving.
