Broiled Salmon With Scallions and Sesame

skin-on center-cut salmon fillets

Instructions
- 1. Whisk together garlic, lime juice, soy sauce, honey, vegetable oil, and sesame seeds in a small bowl. Season salmon with salt and place in a resealable bag with half of the marinade. Seal and let sit for 30 minutes.
- 2. Preheat the broiler. Toss scallions with remaining vegetable oil on a sizzle platter and broil until charred, about 3 minutes.
- 3. Remove salmon from the marinade and place on top of the scallions. Spoon some reserved marinade over the salmon and broil until charred around the edges, about 6 minutes.
- 4. Spoon more marinade over the salmon, top with sliced chile, and broil until the salmon is charred and medium-rare, about 2 more minutes.
- 5. Sprinkle with additional sesame seeds before serving.
