Ingredients

  • 1 lb ground turkey
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • ¼ large red onion
  • 1 large egg
  • ½ cup breadcrumbs or almond flour
  • ¼ cup chopped fresh dill
  • ½ tbsp dried oregano
  • 1 tsp salt
  • ½ tsp pepper
  • 2 tbsp olive oil

Instructions

  1. 1. In a large bowl, combine ground turkey and minced garlic.
  2. 2. Grate the red onion into the turkey mixture or chop it finely.
  3. 3. Add the egg, breadcrumbs, dill, oregano, salt, and pepper, and mix until just combined.
  4. 4. Form the mixture into 14 meatballs.
  5. 5. Heat olive oil in a saucepan over medium heat.
  6. 6. Once hot, add the meatballs and cook for 7-8 minutes, turning them to ensure even cooking.
  7. 7. Cook until the meatballs reach an internal temperature of 165°F.
  8. 8. While the meatballs are cooking, prepare the Tzatziki sauce.
  9. 9. Serve the meatballs over rice.
