Ingredients

  • 1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 2 teaspoons arrowroot powder or cornstarch (optional)
  • to taste fresh ground black pepper

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 400°F and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. In a small bowl, combine the grated Parmesan cheese and arrowroot powder, then add fresh ground black pepper.
  3. Using a tablespoon, scoop the Parmesan mixture onto the prepared baking sheet, spacing them about 2 inches apart and gently flattening them.
  4. Bake for 8 to 10 minutes until they are golden brown.
  5. Allow the crisps to cool completely on the baking sheet before gently lifting them with a spatula.
