Ingredients

  • 1 cup parmesan cheese
  • 1 tbsp flour
  • 1 tsp fresh thyme (optional)
  • to taste freshly cracked pepper (optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your smoker to 400 degrees.
  2. Grate the parmesan cheese and combine it with cracked pepper and thyme in a bowl.
  3. Prepare a sheet pan with parchment paper or use a cupcake pan, ensuring to coat it with nonstick spray.
  4. If using cedar planks in the oven, soak them for 30 minutes, then spray with oil and dust lightly with flour.
  5. Place about 1 tbsp. of the cheese mixture on the prepared surface, spacing them 2 inches apart.
  6. Bake for 10 minutes or until golden, watching closely to prevent burning.
  7. Remove the crisps from the pan and store them on a paper towel in an airtight container.
