  • ½ cup cane sugar (for cane sugar decoration)
  • ¼ to ½ teaspoon matcha powder (for cane sugar decoration)

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 425°F and grease a 6-hole doughnut pan.
  2. Whisk together the melted coconut oil and cane sugar in a medium bowl.
  3. Add the egg and whisk until combined.
  4. Mix in the baking powder, baking soda, matcha powder, nutmeg, sea salt, and vanilla.
  5. Alternately add the flour and almond milk, starting with the flour, until the batter is thick and combined.
  6. Spoon the batter into the doughnut pan and bake for 10 minutes.
  7. Let the doughnuts cool for 5 to 10 minutes before removing them from the pan.
