Ingredients

The donuts

  • 2 cups sweet rice flour
  • ¾ cup milk
  • ¼ cup sugar
  • 1 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1 large egg
  • 2 tablespoons butter (melted)
  • oil for frying

The glaze

  • 4 cups powdered sugar
  • ½ teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 3-4 tablespoons milk
  • 1 drop food coloring (optional)

Instructions

  1. Mix ¼ cup of sweet rice flour with ¼ cup of milk in a microwave-safe bowl and microwave until a sticky dough forms, then let it cool.
  2. In separate bowls, combine the remaining dry ingredients and wet ingredients, then mix them with the sticky dough until smooth.
  3. Divide the dough into 8 equal pieces and roll them into balls, then shape them into a donut ring.
  4. Heat oil in a deep pan and fry the donuts until golden brown on both sides.
  5. Let the donuts cool completely before glazing them.
  6. For the glaze, mix powdered sugar, vanilla extract, and milk, adding food coloring if desired, then dip the donuts in the glaze.
