Ingredients

The Tater Tots

  • 32 oz Tater Tots

The Brisket and Sauce

  • 1 lb Brisket, Moist
  • ¼ cup Creme Fraiche
  • ½ cup Organic Milk
  • ½ cup Chicken Broth
  • 2 cup Heavy Whipping Cream
  • 2 cup Cheddar Jack Cheese
  • 1 cup Pepper Jack Cheese
  • ¼ tsp Oregano
  • ¼ tsp Garlic Powder
  • ¼ tsp Black Pepper
  • Dash Red Cayenne Pepper
  • 2 tbsp Butter
  • 2 tsp Minced Garlic

Instructions

  1. Make the cheese sauce by heating butter and minced garlic in a pan.
  2. Add milk, chicken broth, heavy whipping cream, and creme fraiche, stirring until blended.
  3. Season the sauce with garlic powder, black pepper, red cayenne pepper, and oregano, then add the cheeses and lower the heat.
  4. Preheat the oven to 400°F and bake the tater tots according to package instructions, usually for about 25 minutes.
  5. While the tater tots are baking, slice the pre-cooked brisket into chunks.
  6. Once everything is ready, combine the tater tots in a serving bowl and top with brisket, cheese sauce, and optional toppings like sour cream and chives.
