Ingredients

The salmon

  • pound salmon fillet

The marinade

  • ¼ cup agave nectar or honey
  • 1 tablespoon smoked paprika
  • ½ teaspoon ground cumin
  • 1 teaspoon celtic sea salt

Instructions

  1. Rinse the salmon and pat it dry, then place it in a 7 x 11 inch baking dish.
  2. In a small bowl, combine the smoked paprika, ground cumin, and celtic sea salt.
  3. Drizzle the agave nectar or honey over the salmon and sprinkle with the paprika mixture.
  4. Marinate the salmon for 30 minutes to 5 hours.
  5. Grill the salmon skin side down for 4-5 minutes, then turn it over.
  6. Grill the other side for 3 minutes, or until the salmon is cooked through.
