Instructions
- Prepare the dough by mixing the dry ingredients and then adding the warm milk mixture and egg.
- Knead the dough until it is soft and slightly tacky, then let it rest for 30 minutes.
- Roll the dough into a rectangle, spread softened butter on top, and sprinkle with a mixture of sugar and cinnamon.
- Cut the dough into strips, roll them up, and place them in a greased pan to form a large cinnamon roll.
- Cover the cake and let it rise until doubled in size, about 1-2 hours.
- Bake the cake until golden brown, approximately 30-35 minutes.
- Prepare the icing by whisking together the icing ingredients and drizzle over the warm cake.
