Ingredients

The oatmeal base

  • ½ cup Bob’s Red Mill Old Fashioned Oats
  • 1.75 cups water
  • ½ cup frozen veggies
  • to taste freshly ground black pepper
  • a pinch sea salt
  • ¼ teaspoon freshly minced garlic

The toppings

  • to taste organic black beans
  • ½ teaspoon parsley flakes
  • to taste P.C. Sundried Tomato and Herb Seasoning
  • to taste P.C. Organic Primavera Spaghetti Sauce
  • to taste hummus
  • to taste more black pepper

Instructions

  1. 1. Combine oats and water in a pot over medium heat, stirring frequently for 5 minutes.
  2. 2. Add frozen veggies, black pepper, sea salt, and garlic to the pot.
  3. 3. Cook for an additional 7-8 minutes on low-medium heat, stirring often.
  4. 4. Pour the oatmeal into a bowl and add desired toppings.
