Homemade Cream of Chicken Soup

Instructions
- 1. Bring the chicken stock to a boil in a large saucepan over medium-high heat.
- 2. In a separate bowl, whisk together the milk and flour until smooth.
- 3. Slowly add the milk mixture to the boiling chicken stock, whisking to combine.
- 4. Whisk in the seasonings and reduce the heat to medium, bringing it back to a very low boil.
- 5. Stir constantly for about 3 minutes until the mixture thickens.
- 6. If using, stir in the diced chicken and remove from heat.
- 7. Use immediately in a recipe or store in airtight containers in the refrigerator for up to 1 week.
