Ingredients

The asparagus

  • 1 lb asparagus stalks, trimmed and cut into 1-2 inch pieces

The seasoning

  • 3 tablespoons butter
  • 2 teaspoons minced garlic
  • 1 teaspoon dried Italian seasoning
  • ½ teaspoon kosher salt
  • ¼ teaspoon pepper
  • tablespoons chopped parsley

Instructions

  1. Melt the butter in a large pan over medium-high heat.
  2. Add the asparagus and cook for 3-4 minutes until just tender.
  3. Stir in the garlic, Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper, and cook for 1-2 more minutes while stirring constantly.
  4. Sprinkle with parsley and serve.
