Salted Caramel Banana Oatmeal
Ingredients
The oatmeal

gluten free rolled oats

water or dairy free nut milk

molasses
The toppings

½
bag
Sejoyia Salted Caramel Coco Roons, crushed

bananas
sliced into ½ inch coins

tbsp
coconut sugar (to caramelize the bananas)

¼
cup
chopped dairy free chocolate

tbsp
coconut oil or avocado oil (to cook the bananas)

to taste
shredded coconut (optional)
Instructions
- 1. Coat a non-stick pan or cast iron skillet with coconut oil.
- 2. Slice the bananas and set them aside.
- 3. Heat the pan over low/medium heat.
- 4. Sprinkle the bananas with coconut sugar and coat lightly on both sides.
- 5. Add the banana coins to the pan and flip after 3-5 minutes until charred.
- 6. Remove the bananas from the pan once cooked and set aside.
- 7. In a medium saucepan, combine oats, water or milk, and molasses, and stir well.
- 8. Cook the oats over medium heat for about 10 minutes until fully cooked.
- 9. Roughly chop the chocolate while the oats are cooking.
- 10. Serve the oatmeal in bowls and top with caramelized bananas, chocolate, crushed Coco Roons, and shredded coconut if desired.
