Instructions
- Whisk together the flour, salt, sugar, and instant yeast in a large mixing bowl.
- Add lukewarm water to the dry ingredients and mix until a sticky dough forms.
- Cover the bowl and let the dough rise in a warm place for at least 1 hour.
- Preheat the oven to 425ºF and grease two 1-quart oven-safe bowls with butter.
- Sprinkle 2 tablespoons of seasoning into each bowl, coating the surfaces.
- Deflate the risen dough and divide it into two equal pieces.
- Transfer each piece of dough into the prepared bowls and let rise for another 20 to 30 minutes.
- Bake for 15 minutes, then reduce the heat to 375ºF and bake for an additional 15 to 17 minutes.
- Turn the loaves out onto cooling racks and let cool before slicing.
