Instructions
- Measure masa harina and pour it into a large bowl.
- Add kosher salt to the bowl.
- Add hot water to the bowl.
- Mix the ingredients together in a mixing bowl with a large spoon.
- Knead the dough for a couple of minutes until smooth and not sticky, then let it stand for 30 minutes.
- Roll the dough into small balls, making about 15 balls.
- Press the dough using plastic wrap and a rolling pin or a tortilla press.
- Cook the flattened dough in a skillet or griddle for a couple of minutes on each side until dry and toasted.
- Wrap the cooked tortillas in a towel or tortilla warmer to keep warm until serving.
