Ingredients

The chicken wings

  • 3 lbs Chicken wings (drums and flats)

The seasoning and oil

  • 3 tbsp Olive oil
  • 1 tbsp Baking powder
  • 1 tsp Smoked paprika
  • 1 tsp Garlic powder
  • 1 tsp Onion powder
  • 2 tsp Sea salt
  • 1 tsp Black pepper

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 425°F (218°C) and set up a wire rack on a rimmed baking sheet.
  2. In a small bowl, whisk together baking powder, smoked paprika, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper.
  3. Pat the chicken wings dry with paper towels and place them in a large bowl with olive oil, tossing to coat.
  4. Sprinkle the seasoning mixture over the wings and toss again until evenly coated.
  5. Arrange the wings on the wire rack without touching each other.
  6. Bake in the oven for 35-40 minutes, flipping halfway through, until crispy and golden brown.
