Oven Baked Chicken Wings

Instructions
- 1. Preheat the oven to 425°F and set a cooling rack on a baking sheet lined with aluminum foil.
- 2. In a large mixing bowl, pour the maple syrup and add the chicken wings, mixing to coat them evenly.
- 3. Arrange the wings on the cooling rack with the thick-skinned side down.
- 4. In a small bowl, mix the remaining ingredients and sprinkle half of the spice mixture over the wings.
- 5. Press the spice rub into the wings, flip them over, and apply the remaining spice mixture.
- 6. Bake the wings for 45 minutes on the middle oven rack, then serve warm.
