Ingredients

The wings

  • 3 lb Whole chicken wings

The seasoning

  • 3 tbsp Olive oil (or avocado oil)
  • 2 tsp Sea salt
  • 1 tsp Black pepper
  • 1 tsp Onion powder
  • 1 tsp Garlic powder
  • ½ tsp Dried basil
  • ½ tsp Dried oregano
  • 1 tsp Brown sugar (optional)
  • 1 tsp Smoked paprika
  • ½ tsp Cayenne pepper

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 450°F (232°C).
  2. In a small bowl, whisk together the salt, pepper, onion powder, garlic powder, herbs, brown sugar (if using), paprika, and cayenne.
  3. Pat the wings dry with a paper towel, then brush with oil and season generously with the spice mixture.
  4. Place the wings on a baking sheet and bake for 35-40 minutes until crispy and golden brown, and the internal temperature reaches 165°F (74°C).
