Healthy Baked Chicken Wings

Ingredients

The chicken wings

  • 2 lbs chicken wings (thawed)
  • 2 tsp kosher salt
  • 1 tbsp smoked paprika
  • 2 tsp chipotle powder
  • 2 tsp granulated garlic
  • 2 tsp brown sugar
  • ½ tsp black pepper
  • 1 tsp coriander
  • 1 tsp cumin

Cilantro Dipping Sauce

  • ½ cup mayo
  • ½ cup sour cream
  • 1 clove garlic
  • 1 whole jalapeno
  • ½ cup cilantro
  • ½ tsp salt
  • 1 tsp lime zest

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 425°F.
  2. Mix salt, sugar, and spices in a bowl.
  3. Coat each wing in the spice mixture and place on a wire rack over a foil-lined baking sheet.
  4. Bake the wings for 20 minutes, flip them over, and bake for another 10 minutes until done (165°F).
  5. For extra crispiness, broil for a couple of minutes, being careful not to burn.
  6. While the wings are baking, blend all dipping sauce ingredients in a food processor until smooth.
  7. Serve the wings with the cilantro dipping sauce.
