Oven Roasted Cauliflower

Ingredients

The cauliflower

  • 1 head cauliflower

The seasoning

  • 2 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon fresh thyme
  • 1 teaspoon granulated garlic
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • ½ teaspoon black pepper
  • ½ teaspoon smoked paprika
  • ½ teaspoon turmeric
  • ½ teaspoon onion powder

Instructions

  1. Add cold water and ½ teaspoon of salt to a large bowl.
  2. Soak the cauliflower upside down in the salt water for at least 15 minutes.
  3. Preheat your oven to 450°F.
  4. Mix the seasonings in a small bowl.
  5. Remove the cauliflower from the water and cut it into florets.
  6. Rinse the florets and pat them dry.
  7. Coat the florets with olive oil in a bowl.
  8. Sprinkle half of the seasoning mixture over the florets and stir to coat.
  9. Add the remaining seasoning mixture and stir again.
  10. Prepare a baking sheet with tinfoil and place a wire rack on top.
  11. Spray the wire rack with non-stick spray.
  12. Spread the seasoned florets in a single layer on the wire rack.
  13. Roast the cauliflower for 25-30 minutes until fork tender.
  14. Remove from the oven and serve with your favorite dipping sauce.
