Instructions
- Season the chicken breasts with the seasonings including cocoa powder.
- Add the seasoned chicken to the Instant Pot along with chicken broth, ¼ cup of BBQ sauce, and liquid smoke.
- Seal the lid on the pot and set it to the Meat Setting for 10 minutes.
- Allow the Instant Pot to release steam naturally.
- Remove the chicken and shred it using a knife and fork.
- Ladle out the broth and BBQ sauce mixture from the pot and drizzle it over the shredded chicken.
- Toast the buns if desired.
- Assemble the sandwiches with the chicken and drizzle with remaining sauce, then top with sliced red cabbage.
- Serve the sandwiches.
