Instructions
- Let the pork chops rest at room temperature for 10 minutes.
- Whisk together the chicken broth, apple cider, dijon mustard, cinnamon, and allspice in a bowl.
- Season the pork chops with salt and pepper.
- Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium-high heat and sear the pork chops for 4-5 minutes on each side until browned.
- Transfer the pork chops to a plate and cover with foil to keep warm.
- In the same skillet, melt butter and sauté the sliced apples, onions, sage, and rosemary until tender, about 4 minutes.
- Pour in the broth mixture and let it simmer until reduced by half, about 2-3 minutes.
- Return the pork chops to the skillet and spoon the mixture over them before serving.
