Garlic Feta Dip

Ingredients

The dip

  • 4 ounces light cream cheese
  • cup plain non-fat Greek yogurt
  • 2 cloves garlic
  • 1 tablespoon freshly squeezed lemon juice
  • ½ teaspoon dried oregano
  • teaspoon ground black pepper
  • 6 ounces crumbled feta cheese

Toppings

  • ½ cup diced red bell pepper
  • 1-2 tablespoons chopped fresh parsley

For serving

  • to taste crackers, fresh veggies, and/or pita bread or pita chips

Instructions

  1. Combine two-thirds of the feta, cream cheese, Greek yogurt, garlic, lemon juice, oregano, and black pepper in a food processor.
  2. Blend the mixture until smooth.
  3. Transfer the dip to a serving bowl and top with the remaining feta, diced bell pepper, and parsley.
  4. Serve immediately with desired dippers or refrigerate for up to 1 day.
