Ingredients

  • 3 cups unsweetened coconut flakes

Instructions

  1. Add the coconut flakes to a high-speed blender or food processor.
  2. Blend for 3 to 4 minutes until the flakes start to clump together.
  3. Scrape down the sides of the blender or food processor.
  4. Continue blending for about 16 minutes, scraping down every 3 to 5 minutes until it turns into a paste.
  5. Transfer the coconut butter to a jar and let it cool to harden.
  6. To use, microwave for about 10 seconds to soften or wrap the jar in a hot kitchen towel.
