Cauliflower Bites in Sweet Sriracha Sauce

Ingredients

Cauliflower Bites

  • 1 small head cauliflower
  • ½ cup almond milk
  • 3 teaspoons cornstarch
  • teaspoons salt
  • teaspoons ground black pepper
  • ½ teaspoon garlic powder
  • cups gluten free bread crumbs

Sweet Sriracha Sauce

  • 1 tablespoon sriracha
  • 4 tablespoons maple syrup or agave

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 450°F and grease a cookie sheet.
  2. Mix almond milk, 1 teaspoon salt, 1 teaspoon pepper, and garlic powder in a bowl, then whisk in cornstarch to prevent lumps.
  3. Remove florets from the cauliflower and chop into smaller pieces.
  4. Toss the cauliflower in the almond milk mixture until wet.
  5. Season the bread crumbs with remaining salt and pepper, then coat the cauliflower in the bread crumbs.
  6. Spread the coated cauliflower on the cookie sheet and spray with cooking spray.
  7. Bake for 18-20 minutes until crispy.
  8. Whisk together the sriracha and maple syrup/agave for the dipping sauce and serve.
